COERR Mae Sot organized Annual Catholic Catechism Summer Camp during April 8-14, 2023, in St. Theresa Church, Mae Sot District, Tak province. There were 201 faithful youth of 106 females and 95 males, from 30 Catholic Churches in Tak Province‘s Mae Sot, Phop Phra, Mae Ramad and Tha Song Yang Districts, participating.

   Another Summer Camp was organized in Ban Mae La Temporary Shelter’s Holy Family Church, during April 22-23, 2023. There were 68 participants, of 40 females and 28 males. In Ban Umpiem Temporary Shelter, there were 100 participants of 55 females and 45 males attending.

   COERR Kanchanaburi organized Catholic Catechism Camp at Ban Tham Hin Temporary Shelter in Ratchaburi Province during April 3-14, 2023. There were 212 youth of 123 females and 89 males attending.

   The catechism curriculum and the activities in Ban Mae La was focused on faithfulness, obedience to the ten commandments, reading bible and memorizing important prayers, teaching local language and internet for the hilltribe children who attended this camp in order to understand and realize catechism, including learning how to live and work as a team when joining activities like sports and recreation, etc.

   For Catholic youth who lacked opportunity, this is their time to learn catechism and attend religious rites. For children and youth who wished to become Christian, this is their time to learn catechism and accept baptism.
